Line Mechanic


The Line Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that the production lines are maintained and running properly on a daily basis.

Essential Functions:

  • Must have strong mechanical skills
  • Observes, test, and evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of any malfunction
  • Disassembles machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs
  • Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear
  • Repairs, replaces, adjusts, and aligns components of machinery and equipment
  • Cleans and lubricates parts, equipment and machinery

Qualifications to Perform All Essential Functions:

  • Ability to operate power tools
  • Ability to work on equipment at extended heights
  • Must be able to work in cold room for long periods of time if needed
  • Willing to be a team player
  • Ability to work ten-hour shifts, four to seven days per week
  • Ability to follow all policies and guidelines
  • Ability to demonstrate the commitment to Quality, Integrity and Hard Work
  • Ability to lift 25 – 50 lbs. regularly
