Starkrimson’s have a remarkable deep red exterior and a high juice content that sets them apart from other varieties. They were discovered in the early 1950’s in Missouri as a branch of red pears on a tree that typically produced green pears. Perfect for decorating and gourmet cooking, they are a terrific choice for both salads and buffets.
